The ongoing Dissonance Series...
...has as its inspiration, personally felt or observed moments of frustration; moments that don't fulfill our intention or desire.
All are based on photographs that I've taken over time and are completed as archival mixed media pieces on board or stretched or mounted (sometimes layered) substrates.They are printed, painted, glazed, and finally, protected with multiple UV protective coatings.
This work is often surreal, which seems fitting for these strange yet universal experiences.
